It is great to fall in love. The only problem is too often people fall out of love. I fell in love decades ago, and I am still in love with the same Man. He has not changed. He still tolerates all my faults and He still loves me in spite of my weaknesses. The song below is dedicated to Him. In case you did not guess as yet, His name is Jesus Christ.
Some people do not believe that miracles still happen. However, I have seen miracles with my own eyes and I have even experienced many myself. The most obvious one is the miracle of birth. I have given birth to four beautiful children who are now grown. No one can fully explain conception and birth itself, especially how children happen to look so much like us in many ways.
There is also the miracle of healing. This clip below shows how healing is indeed a miracle that only God has the power to do. Sit back, relax and marvel at how God works in various ways in the earth today.
February is my favorite month of the year. It is in this month that I celebrate my birthday, and it is in this month that a special day, 14th February, is set aside to remember the significant other person in our lives.
Since today is the day after Valentine's Day, I would like to focus on the person that has brought the most meaning to my life. He is the reason that I wake up every morning and it is because of Him that I look forward to each day. He loves me more than I even deserve to be loved and He has given me everything I need. He still loves me even when I make mistakes. He thinks about me throughout the day in spite of my weaknesses. He loves me the way I am. I do not need to pretend to be something I am not, because He will always love me regardless. In essence, His love is unconditional. He never reminds me of the things I have done wrong or of any shortcomings I have. I sing a love song to Him everyday, because He is so special to me.
With technology we can accomplish many more things in a relatively short period of time. We can communicate with people internationally and create wonders. However, the most fascinating thing about technology is the fact that we can spread the good news of salvation through the internet and several other means. Thankfully language has also made this possible.
What is the good news? Jesus Christ, the Son of God came into this world to die for all of us, so that if we believe in Him, when we die we do not have to suffer the penalty of all the wrong things we have done.
I am eternally thankful to God and His Son Jesus Christ for the everlasting life that I have through Him. Thank You Lord and Shalom!

I have not posted anything on this site for a while, but I am back. I hope I was missed as much I missed being here. Anyway, I want to share a recording which took place when I was around three years old. I hope you will like it as much as I did. Enjoy!
I am so excited that I am alive and well at this time. One day people may be referring to this period as the good old days. In any case, these are great days for me and they should be for everyone too. It does no mean that everything is going well for us, but things could be worse.
It is a time that we have witnessed several earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, illnesses, communicable diseases, economic turmoil and many other hardships. However, in spite of all these things and more we have survived and we continue to live by adjusting to whatever we have to face.
There are so many inventions that have already been introduced to the world and some are still in the making I am very thankful for computers and the advent of the internet. It is a wonderful opportunity to communicate with people all over the world.
We can spend less time commuting to and from banks and business places. By simply clicking on websites, business can be conducted at home such as paying bills online. We can maintain contact with friends and family all over the world. We can even play games with them through online games.
However, even more important is the possibility of learning so much without even leaving home. Formerly, people had to literally go to libraries, bookstores and places of learning to gain information. Now, all that is required is a computer and internet service so that information can be communicated via the world wide web.
Perhaps the most important value of this age is the ease and convenience of spreading the gospel. People can read blogs, view websites or simply watch a church service on line. People do not have an excuse anymore to spread the gospel throughout the world. In addition, no one can be excused for not knowing the gospel, no matter how remote their neighborhood may be.
And he said unto them, Go yeintoall the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16: 15
But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went intoall the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. Romans 10: 18
There are times we are overwhelmed by the problems we have, but we can be assured that Jesus, the Rock of Our Salvation is always there for us. He is our comfort in the storm and peace when we experience undue pressure. We need not fear hard times or periods of turbulence because we know whom we have believed in.
1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Sometimes I think about the great treasure that the Word of God is. We do not read it as we should and we do not even share it with others. It was the Word of God that changed my life many years ago. The words that were used from the Bible still influence me even today. I did not understand all the verses since I was only a child. However, I have a greater understanding now of not only those verses, but of the Bible in general.
It occurred to me, what would have happened if no one took the time to tell me about Jesus and what He did for me. I would be ignorant of His saving grace, and I would be lost for eternity. I know I have not been faithful in telling others about Him as I should, but I am thankful for this medium to reach out to others.
The truth is that the Word of God brings life and healing.into our situations. Jesus informed us by His Word:
The thief cometh not, but for to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have
life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10: 10
The Word of God has so much to offer. It is greater than all the riches of the world. It has the power to save us and deliver us. We have a better understanding of God and the world He has made by reading His Word. It has outlived many books, and it has been translated into thousands of languages. Many have tried to eradicate it, but it will stand forever.
As it proclaims:
For ever, O LORD, thywordissettled in heaven.Psalm 119: 89
Many things will change, but God's Word will never change. We can rely on it and God means what He says. He is not a man, so He does not lie. There are so many things that can be said about the Word of God, but for some reason we do not spend enough time trying to know the Word and applying it to our lives. We can be so much better with the Word of God in our hearts and on our lips. Let us take the time today to spend time in the Word and to enjoy the blessings that we can receive as a result.
Every christian knows that Christianity cannot exist without faith. I understand that only one word is used in the original Hebrew for faith and belief, but when translated into English it was viewed as two separate words. In any case, God has made it clear that we cannot please Him without faith. Christianity exists because of faith in God who sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world. We cannot be Christians unless we believe this truth.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through
faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so
that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. But without faith it is impossible to
please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that
he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11: 1 - 3 & 6.
A Christian lives by faith. There is no other way to become a christian or to live as a christian.
Now the justshalllive by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10: 38
How do we get faith? The Bible tells us that we can get faith through Jesus Christ:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2: 8 & 9
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising
the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12: 2
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10: 8 & 17
Our faith is increased through hearing the Word of God:
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: 2 Thessalonians 1: 3 & 4
According to the Scriptures above we can have faith only through Jesus Christ and it comes by hearing. We should also be aware that faith without works is dead. We need to speak the word of faith and do what is required to increase in faith and be full of faith like Stephen.
And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. Acts 6: 8 Remember without faith it is impossible to please God.
I had the opportunity to watch the Praise the Lord program on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) last night. Kurt Carr was being interviewed by Matthew Crouch, the son of Dr. Paul Crouch the founder and president of TBN.
Kurt Carr gave his testimony on how he tried to commit suicide because of an experience he had in his life which left him very depressed. He took an overdose of sleeping pills, then he turned on the television to watch it before he died.
He saw Jan Crouch on television, dressed in full white and she looked like an angel. She was sharing her testimony on how she suffered from depression and how she tried to kill herself. He said He recognized that God not only spared her life, but used her to spread the gospel worldwide through television he realized that there was hope for him. He made every attempt to save his own life as a result of her testimony. God has been using him mightily since then. The most popular song of his group is For Every Mountain as can be seen below:
More recently he has released a song which he sang last night. I invite you to listen and let the words minister to you.
The Bible makes it clear that we all have gifts. The devil does not want us to use our gifts to spread the Word of God, or to bring others into the Kingdom of God. He does everything to frustrate us. His intention is to kill us before our purpose here on earth is fulfilled. Remember he cannot do anything that is good. It is not possible. Jesus said:
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John10: 10
Do not allow the problems in this life frustrate you to the extent that you lose your zeal to live. The apostle Paul reminded Timothy to not neglect the gift that God gave him. My exhortation to every reader today is to meditate on these words of the Apostle Paul today.
Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 1 Timothy 4: 14 & 15
