It has been over six months since I wrote my last blog. Time certainly goes by quickly. Welll it is still January 2012 so I wish all my readers a happy and prosperous new year. I look forward to reading and writing more blogs this year. Cheers!

Happy Fathers' Day to the best father in the entire universe. He is a great provider. He cares about my every thought and provides everything that I truly need. He is patient with me when I fail to do what is right. His love knows no limits or boundaries. I feel content in His presence and at the knowledge of His love. He is so awesome.
Thank you for being there for me always even in the rough times.
Today is celebrated internationally as Mother's Day. I applaud the person or persons who recommended that this day be set aside to honor mothers worldwide. As we focus on mothers, let's not forget the trillions of infants who have been aborted and who will never be able to tell their mothers how much they love them. My hope and prayer is that all current expectant mothers and those who will become pregnant in the future will cherish the life that they have an opportunity to nourish, and give them the chance to be born. Who knows what plan God has for the unborn child? One thing I know for sure and that is that everyone has a purpose here on earth and so everyone should be given the opportunity to fulfill their purpose.

It is great to fall in love. The only problem is too often people fall out of love. I fell in love decades ago, and I am still in love with the same Man. He has not changed. He still tolerates all my faults and He still loves me in spite of my weaknesses. The song below is dedicated to Him. In case you did not guess as yet, His name is Jesus Christ.
There are so many people grieving and losing hope for various reasons. We can all rest assured however, that regardless of what we experience there is always Someone there to help us go through the darkest period of our lives.
One day we will all be united regardless of our skin color, race, age or wealth. It will be a period of peace and joy for those of us who know the One who is coming back for His own. However, those who have not accepted Him will suffer the consequences of rejecting Him, which is eternal separation from Him. Jesus came into this world and died for us so that we do not have to suffer the penalty for our sinfulness and rebellion against Him. If you would like to be in eternity with Him please join me in the following prayer:
Lord please forgive me for living a sinful life. I acknowledge that you are Lord and I need you in my life. Please give me the strength and power to overcome a life of sinfulness so that I will never return to my old way of living. Thank you for the peace and joy that comes only through knowing You. I want to be with You forever. Please give me a clean heart in Jesus' name, Amen.
If you prayed that prayer sincerely you are now a christian, and you need to join a church that will help you grow as you fellowship with other believers. I encourage you to read your Bible and pray regularly. Welcome to the Body of Christ. It would be wonderful if you left a comment below informing me of your decision. Be blessed.
I was listening to the radio this morning and I heard an account given by someone who said he used to compete with his friend when they ate at restaurants. They would each try to pay the bill for the food before the other. One day a company of five dined out and when they had all eaten he asked the waitress for the bill thinking he would surprise his friend. However the waitress told him the meal was already paid for. It was then that he found out that his friend had slipped her his credit card when he entered the restaurant, so the meal was already paid for in full.
He mentioned how this reminded him of how Jesus paid the price for our sins in full when He died on Calvary. The experience seems insignificant compared to what Jesus did, but the principle is that we do not have to pay. Jesus took care of everything. It was finished, complete and fulfilled. Jesus told the following story:
There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
Luke 7: 41 - 48
Words are very important. Words are sometimes used loosely. People say things not because they mean it, sometimes, but they may lightly speak to get out of a situation or to get favor from someone. However, it is always good to say what you mean and mean what you say. Chris Medina knows how important it is to make a promise. He promised his fiance he would marry her and then she had a serious car accident. He decided to be loyal to her and true to his word. This is a mark of good character. He can be seen below while being interviewed by Jay Leno and then singing the song to the love of his life.
Some people do not believe that miracles still happen. However, I have seen miracles with my own eyes and I have even experienced many myself. The most obvious one is the miracle of birth. I have given birth to four beautiful children who are now grown. No one can fully explain conception and birth itself, especially how children happen to look so much like us in many ways.
There is also the miracle of healing. This clip below shows how healing is indeed a miracle that only God has the power to do. Sit back, relax and marvel at how God works in various ways in the earth today.
